National Account Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven National Account Manager to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation sales, a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, and exceptional leadership skills. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and developing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a go-to-date market sales strategy to grow market share and revenue from new and existing customers.
  • Sales Hunter emphasis to close new business from new customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a focus on high-value accounts.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and mater service agreements to accounts, ensuring thorough understanding of our company’s services and value propositions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Analyze sales data and key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Travel to meet with potential and existing clients, additionally participate in trade shows and conferences.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
  • Experience in nationwide and final mile “Big and Bulky” products.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of domestic freight forwarding, trucking, warehousing, and other logistics services.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Current book of business a real plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
